Testimonies

Sharing how God brought revelation to the hearts of those who sought Him through Prayer and Fasting.

  • LESSONS: Ask Him!

The Saturday before the fast I was doing an electrical job for a customer.

I finished the installation and tested it to make sure it worked. It didn't work!

I had asked for help during my prayer time that morning, the first day of the fast. I spent several hours working on fixing this before I saw the problem

was so simple, I had totally overlooked the real problem. I had been given

two huge hints but overlooked those too.  When I finally got the answer,

I was humbled to the core.  A day or two later I was asking the Lord why I had missed the real problem.  His answer was: "You didn't ask Me what was wrong".  So, if I hadn't been so full of myself and asked Him I could have saved a lot of time and anguish. Lesson: Ask Him!  He is not afraid of our questions.  Questions are just part of the relationship He wants with us.

    Sincerely,

    Howard

A bit of our Church History....

New Life Christian Center is a Foursquare Gospel Church.  It was founded in March of 1991 at which time it was called Victory Life Church.  Two years later, another community of believers merged with Victory Life and together they embraced their new identity as New Life Christian Center.   The church quickly became anchored in the community and is known for loving people from all walks of life and all age groups in a manner that will lead them to faith in Jesus Christ.  The community of New Life is purposed to love Jesus and to love people; to grow in their faith and fellowship; and to serve God and serve one another.
